The Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce once again pulled off an exciting and elegant affair with its 2017 Evening of Excellence event on Friday, May 26.

Throughout the evening, locals were recognized for excellence in customer service, marketing, design, innovation, entrepreneurship, youth mentorship, tourism, arts, agriculture and much more, with the highest honours going to City of Kawartha Lakes Family Health Team Executive Director Mike Perry, and Dave Tomlinson of St. Dave’s Diner, who were named Citizen of the Year and Business Leader of the Year, respectively.

Hundreds of local individuals, groups and businesses gathered to recognize those among them who go above and beyond to provide innovative products or services, develop exceptional new practices and improve the community for all.
