More Cell Towers

As committed during the campaign, I can now confirm that two new cell towers are coming just south of Rosedale (Bell) and off Hwy 35 across from the old Survivors restaurant at the turn off to Fenelon (Xplore Internet). Approvals have been issued and construction set to begin. More to come…

 
 

Ongoing Work

  • roads remain top of list – and budget! Council will be considering new, innovative options this spring;

  • it looks like Canada Day celebrations in Fenelon Falls will move to being planned by a committee composed to local residents, businesses, and organization; and

  • planning to reduce traffic in Fenelon and steps to move the bypass forward are underway;

  • the future of the Victoria Rail Trail on east Cameron Lake will be coming back to Council likely in March; and

  • as mentioned during the election, the City is addressing Short-Tern Rentals (“Air BnBs”) this year. Have your say:

“Ready for the Rain”

Coming in March: some free rain barrels are coming to Fenelon Falls! Thanks to the Fenelon Holocultural Society, Handley Lumber, and MDM Developments. Long storms put the capacity of our water treatment plan in town at risk of overflow. Using rain barrels help keep extra water out of the sewer system. Details to follow soon…
