Fenelon Falls residents get 'Ready for the Rain'

The Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society and Ward 3 councillor Mike Perry are providing free rain barrels to residents to alleviate pressure on sewer systems during rainy season.

One hundred lucky Fenelon Falls residents were gifted free rain barrels recently in an initiative designed to help alleviate stress on the sewer and roads system during the rainy spring season.

“Intense rain showers can stress the capacity of our sewer system here in town. We local residents can take action to help,” says Ward 3 councillor Mike Perry who worked with the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society on the project.
