Kawartha Lakes’ housing plan struggling to address growing demand

Roughly 10 per cent of Housing and Homelessness Plan initiatives implemented since council’s approval in November 2019

“It’s not a happy story, but we knew that our targets were very ambitious,” said Mayor Doug Elmslie following a Housing and Homelessness Plan presentation by human services manager Michelle Corley during Tuesday, July 25's council meeting. “Our plans may look good but we still have the problem.”
