Kawartha Lakes council forwards road work projects to 2024 capital budget list

During their Aug. 29 regular meeting, Kawartha Lakes council approved requests for road improvements. Lindsay’s St. George Street between Queen Street and Colborne Street East, Killarney Bay Road in the former Fenelon township and the sections of Mill Street and Lakewood Crescent in Bobcaygeon — “one big pothole,” according to Ward 2 Coun. Pat Warren — will be considered for inclusion in the 2024 capital budget.
